“A day without Art is like a day without sunshine”
I consider myself a mixed media artist. I love working with acrylics, oils, pen&inks, metal collage and found object sculptures. I rarely do preliminary sketches before starting an abstract piece. I just start with an idea and keep” working” at it until it looks right to me. I never know what the finished piece will look like. This keeps things exciting.
I have worked as a free lance illustrator doing package and gift ware design and cartooning. Presently, I’ve created and illustrate a “Just 4 Kids” page in an advertising magazine called the Messenger which is circulated in the Warren and Hunterdon County area. It features how to draw tips and activities for children.
I give art workshops at the local libraries and after-school programs. As a member of The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council and the Drew Art Association, I frequently exhibit and and sell my fine art in the Tri-county Area.
