1st Annual Skylands Photography Exhibit & Competition

This exhibit will be on display through November 15th. On October 18th, the council had an opening reception for the Photography Exhibit. The reception was well recieved by many and we are planning on doing it again next year. We were pleased to offer awards to 6 talented photographers. Joe Guerrerio, adjunct professor of Photography at SCCC, judged the exhibit and chose 5 of the 6 winners, while Dennis Becker, of D.Becker Photo, chose the winner of his award. The awards are listed below with thier respected images. Congratulations to everyone who won and thank you to all who entered. A special thanks goes to Joe Guerrerio and Dennis Becker for having the very tough task of choosing the winners, The Tedesco's, SchoolCraft and Photograghs, Cameras & Video for donating towards the awards. We have had a lot traffic through the gallery with this show, everyday people stop in to look at the photography and are curious of when we will be doing the compitition/exhibit again. Hopefully, in the fall of 2009 we will have a bigger and better show. Stop in to check it out before its over.
