Arts and History Grant Applications Welcome
The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council is accepting applications from all Sussex County visual and performing arts groups as well as from other non-profit organizations planning an arts project for FY 2021. The Council is also accepting applications from all Sussex County history groups as well as from other non-profit organizations planning a history project for FY 2021. Applicant non-profit organizations must be 501(c) (3) certified, as determined by the IRS and be governed by a board of directors that is responsible for policy and finance decisions. The applications and grant guidelines can be found on the Arts Council website: scahc.org.
A Virtual Grant Workshop will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020 at 7 pm. It is mandatory that someone from all new applicant organizations participate in the workshop in order for the organization to be eligible to receive funds. This workshop is optional for current and former re-grantee groups. To reserve a place at the Workshop, please call the Grant Chairperson at 862-243-0397. All applications are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 6, 2020. Funding for the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council has been made available in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program and the New Jersey Historical Commission through the County History Partnership Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council.
