Regrant Organizations

We are fortunate in Sussex County to have active art and heritage communities and social programs with SCAHC playing a critical role in supporting their efforts. Many county art organizations are non-profits that rely on financial support administered by the Council.  SCAHC does this by securing grants from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the New Jersey Historical Commission, and organizing the distribution of the grant funds to the individual art and history organizations. The organizations supported by the programs  are listed below.


Community Choral Society

Provides members and the community in general with concert choral music

Harmony In Motion

A women's a cappella chorus that performs throughout Sussex County


New Sussex Symphony

A full symphony that performs symphonic music of the masters of past centuries as well as composers of the present day.


No Strings A Cappella

Covers a wide range of musical genre from pop, and jazz to classical

Sussex County Highpoint Harmonizers

Singing group of men perpetuating barbershop style music in performance


Sussex County Oratorio Society



Sussex County Youth Orchestra

Dedicated to providing young musicians with the opportunity to develop their musical talents to their fullest potential.

To facilitate creativity in all people by demonstrating the creative process by actual hands on activity.
