Sussex County Arts &   Heritage Council

The SCAHC is dedicated to supporting the arts in Sussex County and making them accessible
to everyone, no matter their economic status. In order to do that, we have different programs to fund the arts in our community and offer discounted prices to Families enrolled in State Assistance programs. To learn more about each program and how they support the arts and artists in Sussex County,

I love the arts, how can I help?

Consider donating to the SCAHC! Although we receive a lot of funds from the State of New Jersey, almost all of it is re-distributed among the non-profit organizations that we support through our Re-Grant Program. Only a small amount is retained for administering the program and keeping our office running, but this only covers a fraction of our costs. We must make up the difference with the help of our sponsors, supporters, contributors, workshops and classes, and fundraising activities. Any contribution you can make really does help. Click HERE to donate!

Do you take volunteers?

Yes we do! Consider subscribing to our Volunteer Opportunities mailing list to get notified when opportunities present themselves HERE

How do I get news about your workshops and classes?

We try and send out a newsletter with upcoming workshops, classes, exhibitions, and events through email. You can sign up for that email subscription HERE

We also post all of our workshops and classes on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Consider following us to stay up to date on what's happening at the SCAHC!

Funding of the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council has been made available in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts, a division of the NJ Department of State and a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Additional funding has been made available in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission through the County History Partnership Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Partial funding provided by the Sussex County Board of Commissioners.
