Sussex County Art Educators' Exhibition

The Exhibition will be on view from April 6, 2023, until April 27, 2023, in the SCAHC Gallery.

The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council is offering an opportunity for all Sussex County Art Teachers to showcase up to three pieces of their artwork in the SCAHC Gallery on Spring Street in Newton! This is a chance to celebrate the artist within the teacher! Entries in all fine arts media will be accepted.

Eligibility: 

All current K -12 Art Teachers in Sussex County NJ.

Entry Fees:

• *Members of SCAHC: $30 for 3 Pieces (or $10/piece)
• Non-Members: $36 for 3 Pieces (or $12/piece)
• Portfolios: $10 for artists exhibiting 3 pieces of art in the current exhibit-up to 20 portfolio pieces matted and wrapped in plastic (STURDY Portfolio display rack no larger than 30” x 30” footprint to be provided by the artist). Portfolios not removed in 4 weeks become the property of the Gallery.

Artwork Drop Off:

• Friday, March 31, 2023, 11 am - 5 pm 
• or Saturday, April 1, 1023, 1 pm - 4 pm

Exhibition on view:

• Wednesday, April 6, 2023, through Thursday,  April 27, 2023

Artists Reception:

• Friday, April 21, 2023, 5:30 - 6:30 pm, in the SCAHC Gallery

Artwork Pickup:

• Friday, April 28, 2023, 11 am - 5 pm 
• or Saturday, April 29, 2023, 1 - 4 pm
